2012-01-10 – FIELD Day 7

Mouse Sleep Alarm
Things went smoothly this time. No distractions. Recalled 4 dreams after I recalled 2 dreams before taping the mouse again and did a WBTB. (I found that taping the little sensor on the bottom prevents the mouse from moving, so I don’t have to worry about right clicking anymore).

2012-01-09 – FIELD Day 6

Mouse Sleep Alarm
I was probably going to have a WILD thanks to this method, but someone woke me up to say that there’s a tornado warning. And the tornado didn’t even affect where I lived.

So they basically stole over one hour worth of me remaining still, and I was so relaxed. It seems I’m solving problems more than solving the technique’s process itself.

I feel like giving up, but if I do that, I’ll get nowhere, but honestly, if people wake me up often, I swear I’m going to strangle someone.

Sigh…

2012-01-08 – FIELD Day 5

Mouse Sleep Alarm
I didn’t do so well this time. Slept late again for some reason.

Remembered two more dreams after trying out FIELD.

Had 6 dreams recalled before that (probably more, but I just put them as dream fragments (one or two)).

2012-01-07 – FIELD Day 4

Mouse Sleep Dreaming
This day was completely horrible. I woke up with maybe 3-4 hours sleep without using the program, recalled some dreams.

Tried to WBTB with the FIELD method, nothing, I couldn’t even sleep. There is some data missing because around the 5 AM-ish mark, it only gets recorded until 6 AM. The other 30 minutes of holding the mouse after I catch back from drifting (didn’t feel myself in the dream state) is not obtained because I accidently right clicked outside the Lucid Scribe program.

Mouse Sleep Detector
I slept around 1:40 AM. Woke up close to 7 AM.

Started to prepare the plugin, things were going okay at first, but after an hour, I started to get impatient with the mouse taped on me, so I quickly bit off the tape to give me a little more freedom holding the mouse.

Then I got really annoyed partly because I was too eager to see myself entering the dream.

2012-01-05 – FIELD Day 2

Mouse Sleep Detection
Day 2 of attempting the FIELD method. I slept pretty late last night (aroudn 2:30 ish AM), but I still aimed to get 4-5 hours of sleep though. I wasn’t using the Lucid Scribe program as yet, it took a while for me to type up my Dream Journal Entry because I recalled a decent amount of dreams.

I prepared to set up the mouse plugin at around 9:35 AM, along with my Blackberry Curve taped on my right wrist too. But then I got annoyed by the constant vibrating sound my Blackberry Curve made when I used the vibration app. So I quickly turned it off and still held on to the mouse and went to sleep quicker.

I recall one dream practicing the FIELD method, which is pretty good since I stayed up over 90 minutes after waking up after 4-5 hours of prior sleep.

Sleep Detector Mouse
Overall, it took me 15-20 minutes to fall asleep while practicing this.

The sensation I felt the most was the blood inside the two fingers I held both mouse buttons with rushing towards that point.

I used that sensation to keep a low level of consciousness. I eventually let go of the buttons and heard the Anthem.mp3 file play and immediately went back to pressing the buttons on the mouse.

I’ll try my best to keep practicing this technique. I think I can pull off a WILD if I try hard enough. It should be easier to do after a Wake Back To Bed to help with the chance of inducing a WILD.
